In spring 2027, the fairy-tale classic RAPUNZEL comes back to life in a spectacular world premiere and whisks you away, live on the musical stage, into a fantastical fairy-tale world between magic and mystery.

Experience the magic of the fairy tale like never before: the story of Rapunzel, her magical hair, and the tower far from the world, based on the Brothers Grimm - with new, surprising twists and a rousing soundtrack by the award-winning writing team Marc Schubring ("Emil and the Detectives" and "Dangerous Liaisons") and Kevin Schroeder ("Fack Ju Göhte", translator of, among others, "Hercules" and "Hamilton").

In this glittering metropolis, hair is not just a hairstyle, but an expression of personality and power. "Rapunzel, let down your hair" - this line describes Rapunzel's everyday life in the distant fairy-tale world of Belle Hair. Rapunzel has always been known for her shining, perfect hair, making her the showpiece daughter of her ambitious mother. But behind the shine hides a young woman who wants more than just to be beautiful - and so she flees her homeland ahead of a great beauty pageant... Was her mother right to warn her about the dangerous world outside? Are all people shallow and cruel - or is there someone special out there? Or will Rapunzel find her own path?
